According to researchers, our super-city will need 330,000 more dwellings over the next 30 years to house Auckland’s projected population of 2 million-plus. We simply don’t have the quarter- acre blocks to do that anymore. Developments like “PRECINCT RESIDENCES” deliver the lifestyle & sense of community that city dwellers desire & enjoy so much! We are now in a period when new building consents are at their lowest level in 20 years, which means that currently there are virtually no new apartments under construction.

This has to be good news for all those who currently own a quality apartment! In my considered opinion it will be at least three or four years before we see any major residential development commencing again in Auckland. So while values may not be leaping away like the dizzy days of the eighties, rest assured that your apartment investment is slowly growing in value.
